Auto Mic SwitchFREE
Pocket+ knows when you start using a DJI Mic. Plug the receiver into your Mac and the app switches to it on its own. Unplug it and it goes back to the microphone you used before. No digging through menus before a recording.
Receiver on the Mac
When a DJI Mic receiver shows up as a Mac audio device, Pocket+ picks it and shows a short note that it switched. If you unplug it during a recording, Pocket+ keeps the recording going and switches back once you stop. Other microphones stay manual: choose them in the microphone menu at the top left of the preview, next to the level meter.
Transmitter paired to the Pocket
You can also pair a DJI Mic transmitter directly to the Pocket. Then the Mac doesn't see a new microphone at all, because the camera sends the mic's sound through its own USB audio. Pocket+ notices this within a couple of seconds and renames the source from Camera's Mic to DJI Mic, so you always know what you're recording. It needs a bit of sound to tell the difference.
Always know what you hear
The level meter next to the menu shows the signal live. The audio source can't change in the middle of a recording, so a cable bump won't cut your sound. If the microphone you chose isn't connected, Pocket+ falls back to the camera's mic and tells you.
The DJI Mic switch is part of the free version.
